Job Description:We are seeking a Product Manager (“PM”) to join our AIOps and Automation team in Pittsburgh, PA, where you will collaborate closely with the Product Owner (“PO”) and R&D to drive enhancements and new capabilities to our mainframe network management solution (NetMaster). This solution monitors the health of the mainframes network, helping to identify user, certificate, and encryption problems before they become end-user outages.
The PM is a Customer/Market facing role, responsible for identifying and continuously validating addressable market opportunities aligned to Broadcom’s Mainframe software strategy. The PM understands and communicates the voice of the customers, and combines these to achieve market success through delivering new or improved product or solution offerings. Ultimately, the PM is responsible for the product business case. This means ensuring successful adoptions and customer partnerships for the product by providing leadership (and guidance) across multiple functions. Often, the PM serves as the focal point for all Go-To-Market activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Development of the vision, strategy, roadmap and releases of new features or migration plans for this product.
Prioritize product features by analyzing customer needs and breaking them down into functional stories working closely with the Product Owner.
Lead the cross-functional product team in support of the overall Product Management discipline.
Intermediary between market/business requirements and R&D to advocate for the product internally.
Remove roadblocks across teams to meet quality standards, project deadlines, and business objectives.
Partner with Architecture teams solutioning new features and capabilities, including but not limited to exploring applicability of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning technologies
Lead sales initiatives (necessary) for customer adoption of new product features in the existing market
Measure customer adoption and retention based on the GTM plan and tactics deployed
Regular meetings with customers (both remote and on-site) and presentations at customer conferences, including SHARE and Broadcom Mainframe Technical Exchange
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product management or software development
Expertise in managing cross-functional, cross-business, cross-disciplinary projects
Working with business stakeholders in partnership to achieve goals and objectives
Basic understanding of software licensing and product delivery in a B2B business model
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong stakeholder management and effective communication skills
Experience working with product and engineering teams in a collaborative software development environment and defining Go-To-Market plan.
Understanding of managing and triaging customer requests
Leadership, organization, and time management skills.
Knowledge of mainframe software industry, transformation trends, and insights preferred
Must have legal authorization to work in the US.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is USD 104,100.00 To USD 166,500.00
