Join Qantas in our brand-new Product and Innovation Centre located in Adelaide to help meet evolving consumer needs by enabling agile teams to deliver faster, more adaptive solutions that prioritise customer value, continuous feedback, and innovation at every stage of the product lifecycle.  

As Product Manager, you'll lead the development and evolution of the Qantas Digital Assistant, spanning Chatbot, Voice Bot, and messaging, delivering seamless experiences across our website, mobile app, and IVR channels.

You'll shape the product roadmap by analysing trends, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring alignment with both commercial and customer outcomes. You will work closely with technology partners, vendors, and a dedicated digital squad to drive the delivery of deterministic and generative AI solutions that create real, measurable impact for our customers.

You’ll have: 

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience, ideally working with virtual assistants, chatbots, or conversational AI, experience in the airline or travel industry is highly regarded
  • Hands-on experience across app, web, or voice (IVR) channels, with a track record of scaling and driving adoption of conversational AI products
  • Exposure to deterministic and/or LLM/Generative AI solutions, experience across both is a strong advantage
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional Agile squads, including developers, business analysts, engineers, testers, and conversational experience designers
  • Strong Product Management fundamentals, strategic and analytical thinking, a customer-centric mindset, familiarity with Human Centred Design, business requirements, prioritisation, and confidence working within Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels to achieve strategic outcomes
  • A collaborative leadership style, you contribute positively to team culture, enjoy developing others, and bring strong communication and presentation skills to varied audiences
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Technology, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience
