What's so exciting about this role?
The Consumer Australia team have broad responsibilities in supporting customers & merchants.
We are responsible for full end-to-end marketing covering acquisition, lifecycle and engagement, social strategy, media strategy, Public Relations, brand and CX.
As a Product Manager, you’ll own and evolve consumer products that matter to customers. You’ll drive product performance, lead continuous improvement and remediation initiatives, and work closely with technical teams to deliver world‑class experiences - combining analytical thinking with a passion for customer‑led growth.
What Does An Average Day Look Like?
No day is average at humm but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:
- Develop product strategy, collaborating with multiple stakeholders across technology, marketing and sales.
- Own the end‑to‑end health, performance and remediation of the product, including incident triage, root cause analysis, remediation delivery and closure
- Lead remediation initiatives across the portfolio, ensuring fair customer outcomes and compliance in partnership with risk, legal and compliance teams
- Define remediation scope, impacted cohorts, remediation periods and product obligations, translating findings into clear product, process and system requirements
- Represent the product across stakeholder groups (technology, finance, marketing, credit, analytics and customer service), using insight and feedback to drive optimisation
- Balance customer experience, regulatory obligations, operational efficiency and commercial outcomes across all product enhancements
- Lead Product Owners in developing and delivering a clear, actionable quarterly roadmap aligned to product strategy

We’re also looking for someone who brings:
- Proven experience in product management within consumer financial services (e.g. cards, loans or consumer credit), including remediation or customer detriment initiatives
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance expectations, with the ability to embed fair customer outcomes into product decisions
- Highly analytical and solutions‑focused, with a track record of translating complex issues into clear product and system requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, working effectively across risk, legal, technology and business teams
- Commercially pragmatic, with experience delivering results through build, test and release cycles
