We’re now looking for a Product Manager with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to deliver business impact who can help design the next generation of our digital preservation solutions in a product-led way.  

 
 
The Role: 

As a Product Manager at Preservica, you’ll be part of a cross-functional sprint team, responsible for a core product area. You’ll work with engineers, designers, and a delivery lead to define and deliver new functionality, always with a strong focus on solving user problems and driving customer value.  

Working as part of the Product Management team, you will also partner with Customer Success, Marketing, Presales, and Sales teams to ensure we keep product-led growth at the core of what we’re delivering.  

You will report into the Senior Product Manager for Preservica Editions, one of our two products, but given our size and exciting stage of the business, you will have frequent and significant exposure to the most senior leadership in the organization. 

This will be a hybrid role working mostly from home with a number of office days per month. You should ideally be based within commuting distance of our Abingdon office. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Own a core product area with multiple workstreams, developing a deep understanding of jobs-to-be-done and user sentiment for this area 

• Connect the dots between customer needs, product features and business goals, and leverage this knowledge to influence the team’s direction and roadmap 

• Contribute to improvements in activation, retention, and feature adoption through thoughtful product design 

• Champion the outcomes users expect from Preservica, and translate these into tangible requirements that address the business problem 

• Own the dialog between the product requirements and the technology solutions that drive value to the user and solve their problems (interfacing with development and design teams) 

• Manage and prioritize the team’s backlog, aligning delivery with business goals and user impact 

• Rally stakeholders around the team’s work, ensuring a successful launch of the features they deliver 

• Be the subject matter expert for your product area and beyond, and ensure alignment and understanding of the product’s value proposition with customer-facing teams 

• Understand the competitive landscape and be in tune with the general direction of the market 

What We Look For:  

A highly motivated self-starter, to be part of Preservica you need:  

• Proven experience as a product manager in an agile organization 

• Knowledge of SaaS / technology / digital preservation highly desirable 

• Passion for PLG strategies and user-centric product development 

• Familiarity with product analytics tools 

• Ability to work in complex cross functional teams 

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills 

• Commercial awareness and a sense of ownership
