About the role:
Reporting to Ben Goeing as one of the first product managers at Ambient, you will oversee all phases of product feature development for a substantial surface area of the product. This includes end-to-end full responsibility of the roadmap, strategy, and execution for our large enterprise customers. In this role, you will work cross-functionally across sales, marketing, engineering, and leadership to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You will also engage extensively with external customers to better understand how we can improve current products while also bringing new features and value to support their needs.
At Ambient, product managers have a direct impact on our growth and success in the market. We are creating a new category in the enterprise physical security market, and this role puts you right at the heart of an industry transformation.
What you'll do:
Work with a cross-functional team to manage and coordinate the product roadmap, strategy, and long-term vision
Drive new feature developments from start to finish
Run user research, usability studies, and data-driven experiments to inform product direction
Establish, monitor, and measure success metrics after deployment
What you'll bring:
5+ years experience in product management, with demonstrated experience in building and shipping products for enterprise customers
B2B SaaS background, with experience working directly with enterprise customers
Experience managing ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies within a product development cycle
Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, manage stakeholder relationships, and prioritize stakeholder requests
Proactive, resourceful, and able to excel in a fast-paced environment
Salary and Equity:
At Ambient.ai, we take a market-based approach to compensation. Final offers are based on job-related skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
Base salary is just one part of our total rewards package, including stock options and the opportunity to share in the company’s growth.
The starting base salary range for this role in Redwood City: $180,000 - $210,000
