Senior Product Manager

BitPay is building blockchain technology that transforms how businesses and people send, receive, and store money. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the full product lifecycle for BitPay products. Your work will include gathering input and feature requests from internal stakeholders, customers, and the market trends to hypothesize, test, and iterate on products used by millions of people.

Your Role and Impact: As a Senior Product Manager at BitPay, you will coordinate across departments to ensure internal stakeholders are supported through clear roadmaps and effective delivery. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, Compliance, Finance, and Information Security to define and refine requirements for mission-critical projects, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic objectives. Your role is essential in bridging the knowledge gaps between teams, fostering collaboration, and driving the success of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Own the full lifecycle of development for your product portfolio, including customer onboarding and success. 
• Deliver comprehensive documentation to support Finance, Compliance, and Customer Support operations.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive product requirements documentation that ensures international regulatory compliance. 
• Manage vendor relationships, support strategic partnerships, and serve as SME in  audits. 
• Drive product enhancements, identify new strategic opportunities, and curate competitive intelligence.
• Maintain and continuously refine your product backlog to balance short-term needs with long-term strategy. 
• Lead initiatives to uplift onboarding, identity verification, and monitoring programs for B2B and B2C entities. 
• Present and discuss user experience, funds/data flows, and back-end operations with regulatory entities.
• Stay ahead of crypto trends to anticipate user needs and regulatory developments. 
• Translate insights into actionable product improvements that strengthen our product positioning and user experience.
• Take on new challenges as BitPay grows and product scope evolves. 

Requirements:

• 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years of crypto experience.
• Experience with financial regulations, data privacy, or information security.
• Proven ability to use data to guide product decisions and evaluate outcomes.
• Experience  delivering in fast-paced product release environments, from frequent iterations to long-term roadmaps.
• Understanding of modern software development and project management processes and technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a genuine passion for innovation and impact.
• Proficiency of Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Google Workspace, and Compliance tools.
