Product Manager

Location: Portland, OR
Type: Full-Time, Onsite

We’re looking for an experienced and results driven Product Manager to lead our Camp Cook product category with strong commercial acumen, innovation, strategy, and market insight. What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term product strategies aligned with Gerber's growth goals.
  • Lead the New Product Development (NPD) process, ensuring projects exceed consumer desires and meet company financial benchmarks.
  • Conduct consumer and marketplace research to identify opportunities, understand customer needs, and stay ahead of trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver compelling product briefs that drive innovation.
  • Manage the complete product and commercial lifecycle, including portfolio rationalization, pricing, profitability, and end-of-life strategies.
  • Identify, develop and work cross functionally to execute seasonal promotions and SMU’s for major retail partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for product and commercial related topics for the Sales team and other cross functional teams, providing insights and guidance on product strategies.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in the outdoor, tool, or consumer goods industry.
  • Dynamic multi-tasker and decision maker, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and product lifecycle management
  • Experience in developing and implementing consumer research projects using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage product development timelines.
  • Ability to work with different data sources to help develop a deep understanding of market trends and competitive analysis.
  • Experience with overseas sourcing, suppliers and imported goods.
