Product Manager

Job Description

EKN Engineering is a fast-growing B2B engineering and technology consulting company located in Irvine, CA.

We are expanding our team by hiring an experienced Product Manager for our Technology and Development team. This group is responsible for building and maintaining our custom B2B software solutions. The applicants’ duties will include analyzing user behavior across our product portfolio, evaluating client feedback on our products, and finding solutions for new product features that maintain our competitive edge.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with the Software Development, Data Analytics, Project, and Business Operations teams.
• Work with stakeholders, including internal project teams and external users, to identify product gaps and improvements.
• Conduct technical consultations with customers to clearly define needs, attending sales calls to assist with sales efforts
• Analyze data available from client data sources (feed and APIs)
• Deliver product demonstrations at differing points of the sales process, assisting with pre-sales scoping studies and workshops
• Develop and maintain efficient customer communication and feedback channels.
• Develop and implement new product features and their business strategies consistent with the company vision.
• Create product plans and roadmaps and PRD (Product Requirement Documents).
• Prioritize product features and make sure that product development is focused and impactful.
• Prepare project status and risk management reports.
• Coordinate documentation and training on new product features and provide support to internal and external users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in a product management role
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with pre-sales customer requirement discovery/assessment and post-sales implementation coordination
• Experience with data migration and transformation
• Experience with SQL and proficiency with Excel
• Experience with ETL and APIs
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent customer projects with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral, written, and presentation)
• Strong analytical and research capabilities to evaluate opportunities and challenges and uncover new customer insights to improve product functionality and user experience.
