Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing and driving the development and success of a product throughout its lifecycle. This role will act as the bridge between stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and development teams, to ensure the product meets user needs and business objectives. Key responsibilities include prioritizing features and tasks, creating and maintaining product backlog, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Empathy & collaboration for a product with moderately translatable client or business needs, collaborating on prioritization with the business

  • Accountable for results your sprint team delivers against KPIs (OKRs) that advances your business stakeholder’s needs

  • Demonstration of sequencing proficiency to produce a roadmap for a product

  • Understanding of technical limitations to solution client or business needs

  • Collaborate with the business to identify new Features and Epics that solve the business need

  • Breakdown of Epics & Features into User Stories & Acceptance Criteria by which a functional deliverable is considered complete, across the front-end, back-end, and databasing layers

  • Develop go-to-market plans, working with marketing, training, sales, operations

  • Smoke testing new functionality in UAT prior to Product & Stakeholder signoff

  • Task leadership for a cross-functional engineering & design execution team

Qualifications & Characteristics

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field of study required, or equivalent experience

  • Master’s degree in related field highly desirable

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in product management or leading product development

  • Proven track record of coaching and developing other people

  • Knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies

  • High level of attention to detail, quality, and effective verbal and written communication skills along with excellent follow-through

  • Proven track record of leadership in product management/product owner roles, with at least 2 years of experience in leading a team

  • Demonstrated expertise in product strategy development

  • Strong business acumen to deliver product improvements that improve the competitive position of the business

  • Skilled in prioritizing features and tasks based on business value, user feedback, and market demand

  • Willingness to embrace change, iterate on ideas, and respond quickly to evolving market dynamics and user feedback
