Spot & Tango is an innovative pet health & wellness brand that delivers personalized meal plans on a subscription basis. Our recipes are developed by leading animal nutritionists, and are made with only real, human-grade ingredients... and nothing artificial! We have lofty goals (to make every dog in the country healthier, and every pet parent happier!) and we are looking for the right people to help us get there. Who You Are
As a member of Spot & Tango’s Product Management team, you’ll have the unique opportunity to help us continue building beautiful, intuitive products and experiences for our users and customers, while also helping to shape Spot & Tango’s broader product strategy. You will be collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, operations, design, UX/UI, engineering, and CX and will work closely with the Heads of Product and Engineering. This is an exciting role for an ambitious, detail-oriented Product Manager who wants to drive immediate impact at a leading pet health & wellness startup.
Responsibilities:
- Translate abstract business needs into actionable product requirements documents (PRDs)
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to build high-quality and beautiful digital products
- Design and monitor A/B tests, both internally and through external agencies
- Facilitate communication and transfer key project details between teams involved in the product development process, including design, engineering, marketing, customer experience, and operations
- Help manage tactical development execution, including sprints, tickets, resourcing, and timelines
- Test and approve features before release; triage feedback from business users and ensure bugs are surfaced + properly prioritized
- In collaboration with the Data team, track feature performance and present pertinent data to the Head of Product
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; engineering, math, or related field preferred
- You have 2+ years of experience in a product management role
- You have prior experience working with engineering teams
- Engineering / technical skill not required, but preferred
- You have the ability to work on multiple projects at once, and can determine prioritization while managing trade-offs by collaborating with internal stakeholders and understanding user feedback
- You are persistent, determined, and organized; you have a true ownership mentality, take pride in your work, and go above and beyond to get things over the line
- You have excellent communication skills and can articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical team members, partners, and stakeholders
- You ask a lot of questions and are constantly looking to improve
- You are based in New York or would be willing to relocate to New York
- You love dogs!
This is a hybrid position.
You must be able to commute into our office in Midtown Manhattan Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Hybrid Workspace
Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.
Our hybrid policy requires employees to work in-person at our New York office Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Employees are able to work from home on Tuesday and Friday.
