Position Summary
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving product success in the competitive tablet market? As the Product Marketing Manager for Galaxy Tab (Ecosystem), you'll play a pivotal role in shaping Samsung's tablet portfolio in the Philippines. You'll be responsible for driving product strategy, revenue growth, and market share while optimizing supply chain operations and crafting innovative Go-to-market strategies.This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the growth of Samsung's Galaxy Tab ecosystem. Role and Responsibilities
Role and responsibilities include, but is not limited to:
1. Product Strategy Formulation and Execution
Analyze market trends & competition landscape of the target market and develop a line up strategy that can maximize the company's sales, market share and profit throughout product life cycle.
Differentiation derivation: Identify differentiated value proposition and new concepts that can strengthen the product's competitiveness and winning consumer offerings.
Monitor competitor movements to ensure Samsung remains ahead in the flagship segment.
2. Go-to-Market Strategy Set Up and Execution
Identify new market opportunities and customer segments to drive growth.
Manage to build the differentiated marketing strategy to maximize the impact of a new product launch and set and execute a market access strategy.
Engage, guide and lead cross functional teams to make sure highest quality of execution of GTM strategies.
3. Supply Chain and Forecast Management
Forecast needed Sell-in and Sell-out to achieve QTY and AMT targets, and build plans to bridge gaps vs realistic run-rates
Work with SCM team to ensure high quality and efficient operation, in alignment with segment KPIs
4. Cross-Functional & HQ/Regional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing communications, retail, sales and channel development teams to ensure aligned product launches and campaigns execution.
Gather feedback from sales, retail and channel teams to align Go-to-market development with market needs.
Actively connect with HQ and regional offices for cadence and balance in planning and execution.
5. Handling Additional Ad-Hoc Projects & Initiatives
Manage omnibus campaigns tactical initiatives from time to time, ensuring alignment with portfolio strategy and business priorities.
Oversee App Preloading operations and ensure seamless execution across device portfolio.
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role you must have/be able to:
Experience & Industry Knowledge
6–8 years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships, commercial operations, or program management.
Proven experience in consumer electronics, telecommunications, retail, or technology industries, with a track record of successful product launches.
Demonstrated experience managing product portfolios across multiple segments and consumer tiers.
Proven track record in partner management and cross-functional collaboration.
Experience working with regional stakeholders or global headquarters is an advantage.
Familiarity with the Philippine retail landscape, payment ecosystems, and consumer behavior is a strong plus.
Pricing Strategy, Market Analysis, & Competitive Positioning: Strong background in these areas.
E-commerce & Omnichannel Go-to-Market Strategies: Experience in these areas is a strong advantage.
Hard Skills
Mobile Industry Understanding: Deep knowledge and insights into the mobile flagship segment.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Experience in setting and executing large-scale Go-to-market strategies and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
