Product Manager

The opportunity

Product isn't a back-office function - it's where strategy meets customer, and where the roadmap for our business actually gets shaped.

Reporting to the Head of Product and Pricing, you'll join a tight team of product managers and actuaries who take real ownership of the products they run, from first idea through to launch and beyond.

Insurance product work can get a reputation for being rigid. We're after someone who pushes against that - who brings ideas, questions the default, and isn't satisfied with "that's how it's always been done."

This is a role with real ownership, not a support seat. You'll shape products from first idea to launch, backed by a team of actuaries who know the technical detail so you can focus on the thinking.

What you’ll own

• The product roadmap - you set the direction, not just follow it
• Product performance - from reviews to the numbers behind the decisions
• The business case for change - you build it, you pitch it, you get it prioritised
• Stakeholder relationships across Legal & Risk, Growth, IT and Senior Leadership
• Compliance and governance for everything you ship

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years in product management within financial services - deep insurance experience isn't required, our team has plenty of that knowledge to bring you up to speed
• Strong commercial understanding - you know how products make money and what drives their performance
• Solid grip on end-to-end product lifecycle - ideation through to launch
• Strong analytical skills - you can pull apart performance data, market trends and financial modelling and turn it into a clear recommendation
• A track record of working across a complex stakeholder environment - Legal & Risk, Growth, IT, senior leadership, actuarial teams
• Hungry and curious - you're always chasing a better way of working, not just executing what's in front of you
