Job Description:

Position Summary:
Work as liaison between vendors and organization; provides specialized consultative service and implementing, driving and maintaining vendor programs, marketing, and training; review and negotiate terms of vendor contracts and communicate with vendors regarding day-to-day matters; build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and monitor vendor performance; research invoice and contractual issues and resolve discrepancies. Position may or may not be on sales commission plans.
You will be working closely with the sales team, business development team and inside sales team.
Responsibilities
- To manage a portfolio of products related to system, storage, data management and backup solutions.
- To support sales team requests, on quote, product features, partner events, ordering and related processes.
- To understand vendors set requirements, strategize the market of products and translate business action plan.
- To generate recurring demand from existing vendor tiered partners.
- To be able to articulate basic information with related to assigned products, and co-host partner workshops with Presales/vendor team.
- To recruit and expand resellers based actively through marketing activities & program.
- Establish strong engagement with vendors and resellers for all aspect of business opportunity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of system, storage, backup and related solutions.
- 1-2 years’ experience managing IT product portfolio will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge/passionate with technology and latest IT trend.
- Senior position is available based on experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong team player and customer oriented.
