Position Summary
As our Product Manager Smartphones Belgium, you will play a crucial role in driving our product portfolio's success. You will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing strategies that ensure the growth and profitability of our Smartphones range. Role and Responsibilities
Your role
In this role, you will be responsible for the market growth and product strategy of Samsung Smartphones in the Belgian/Luxemburg market, regarding Line-up, Promotions, Analysis, Strategy, Investments and Go-To-Markets. You will ensure the optimum use of the product marketing mix (4P) within the strategy and guidelines of Samsung, to enhance brand awareness, drive profitability, turnover and market share.
Your responsibilities
As our Product Manager Smartphones, you will lead the full category including stakeholder management.
Your key responsibilities include:
Product Marketing Strategy (30%):
Develops and implements strategies and tactics for the Smartphones portfolio, which includes the full portfolio (Flagship and A Series).
Oversees all aspects of the product lifecycle, including market and product research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, pricing, channel development and Go-to-Markets.
Coordinates with relevant teams to execute marketing strategies, encompassing point-of-sale development, pricing strategies (where applicable), profit & Investment optimization, product launches, and promotions.
Go-To-Markets (30%):
A dedicated product manager responsible for managing the go-to-market strategy and process of a new product launches (several launches per year). Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth launch operations and secure seamless information distribution and direction on the GTM plan.
Performance Focus, Reporting & Analysis (20%):
Drives all marketing activities to enhance sales, profit, and brand recognition for Samsung Smartphones. Collaboratively establishes a clear mission and vision aligned with company guidelines, fostering positive brand awareness and market share.
Consistently generates marketing reports by analyzing sales and marketing data (from first and 3rd party sources), adhering to company regulations. Gains comprehensive insights into the product strategy and presents strategic and marketing plans to internal and external stakeholders.
Supply Chain Management (10%):
Maintains optimal stock levels and availability of the Samsung Smartphone product portfolio within Samsung's guidelines. Collaborates with logistics and service teams to ensure a robust forecast, stock-levels and supply.
Internal Communication (10%):
Efficiently collaborates and communicates with Mobile Division (Sales, Marcom, SCM, Channel) and cross-functional departments (legal, Customer Service, Corporate Marketing). You will also have reporting lines towards Senior Management, European office and HQ.

Our ideal Product Manager meets the following criteria:
- Bachelor/Master degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- Fluency in Dutch, French and English
- (Proven) experience as a Product or Category Manager, preferably within the telecom or consumer electronics industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market insights to make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong commercial sense to partner with our sales team to develop the perfect local approach
- A passion for technology, innovation, and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
