Citi is looking for a Vice President, Product Manager to lead the strategic direction and commercialization of its Liquidity Management Services (LMS) deposit and liquidity portfolio across the UK and Europe, based in Warsaw within the Treasury and Trade Solutions business. Reporting to the Managing Director, Head of Liquidity Management Services for UK & Europe, this senior role carries direct ownership of balance sheet performance, product innovation, and client advisory across a high-profile, revenue-generating portfolio. Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for deposit services and liquidity concentration solutions across the UK and European portfolio, setting direction for both near-term delivery and long-term growth.
Partner with Treasury, Finance, and Market Risk to optimize the bank's balance sheet, managing deposit mix, duration, and funding costs in alignment with LCR and NSFR liquidity metrics.
Establish and govern pricing frameworks for the deposit portfolio, overseeing deal reviews and pricing approvals to maximize yield while maintaining rigorous portfolio discipline.
Define and execute commercialization strategies that drive revenue growth, deposit acquisition, and market share expansion across UK and European markets.
Advise corporate treasury clients as a senior subject matter expert during high-value negotiations, RFP processes, and strategic engagements, recommending optimal liquidity structures tailored to client needs.
Lead the product control environment, including Manager's Control Assessments and Product Approval Processes, ensuring alignment with PRA/FCA requirements, Deposit Protection frameworks, and applicable tax regulations.
Apply data analytics and advanced reporting to benchmark portfolio performance, identify rationalization opportunities, and inform business decisions across the UK and European account base.
Collaborate with Operations and Technology teams to advance the digital infrastructure underpinning scalable, real-time liquidity management capabilities across European branches.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 10–12 years of experience in transaction banking, corporate treasury, or financial services, with deep expertise in deposit products, liquidity management, and balance sheet optimization.
Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize a deposit or liquidity product portfolio, including pricing governance, funding cost management, and liquidity metric alignment (LCR, NSFR).
Solid grasp of corporate treasury practices, macroeconomic drivers, and interest rate risk as they apply to deposit and investment product design.
Proven experience navigating UK and European regulatory environments, including PRA/FCA frameworks, Deposit Guarantee Schemes, and tax compliance obligations such as FATCA and CRS.
Track record of leading complex, cross-border product launches or transformation programmes from conception through to execution.
Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across legal, compliance, risk, finance, and sales functions within a global, matrixed organization.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
