About the job
This position will play a pivotal role in shaping, defining, and executing Twilio’s product vision and strategy for rich content to support existing and emerging advanced messaging use cases for all of the channels that Twilio supports. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, customer support, and go-to-market to bring to life innovative solutions that help thousands of businesses around the world to deliver personalized customer engagement at scale.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Be a leader and owner by setting direction and advocating for your product, its customers, and desired business outcomes.
- Define a multi-quarter vision for your product and execute towards it with defined milestones and deliverables, while balancing the need to prioritize and support shorter-term tactical business needs.
- Take ownership of the product backlog and prioritize objectives for your customers and stakeholders to develop a roadmap with measurable key results that are aligned with our company’s strategy.
- Define and document clear, detailed requirements necessary to support our design and engineering teams in their technical product development.
- Partner with cross functional peers to drive product planning, design, execution, internal enablement, external documentation, and launches of new products and features against defined success metrics.
- Perform ongoing product analysis and customer research to derive insights that inform decision-making to prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact and strategic goals.

- 4+ years experience in a Product Management role in an enterprise software company.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels. You are happy to talk to customers, partners, and senior executives located and operating globally, and enjoy evangelizing your product and vision to audiences with varying backgrounds, perspectives, and personalities.
- Ability to gather customer requirements from many, often competing, sources to solve business problems, and being able to effectively prioritize and communicate these requirements with engineering and design teams.
- Proven success analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to make product decisions, get executive buy-in, and drive towards measurable team, product, and financial performance.
- Experience working with engineering teams to deliver software using Agile methodologies and lead brainstorming discussions with engineering leaders.
- Can thrive working in a dynamic environment that requires quick, thoughtful decision-making and the ability to adapt to unexpected ecosystem changes.
- Ability to collaborate and influence effectively across cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, customer support, and marketing.
- Established track record of leading successful product and feature launches from concept ideation through GA releases.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Desired:
- CPaaS experience or deep understanding of the global messaging industry, trends, technologies and market dynamics.
- Knowledgeable in user research methodologies, conducting product experiments, and UX best practices and design principles.
- Proficiency in agile development methodologies and leading scrum teams.
- Software development experience with customer facing API based products and working with architects to define them.
- Experience working with data analytics tools (e.g. SQL, Looker, Tableau)
Location
This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.
Travel
We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, you may be required to travel occasionally to participate in project or team in-person meetings.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
- Based in Colorado or Washington D.C. : $123.520,00 - $154.400,00
- Based in New York, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $130.720,00 - $163.400,00
- Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $145.280,00 - $181.600,00
- This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
