Product Manager - PQC solutions

Job summary

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Bangalore-based team focused on building next-generation Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) solutions. This role sits at the intersection of cryptography, developer platforms, and modern product delivery, and will help define how organizations discover, manage, and transition cryptographic assets in a post-quantum world.

You will work closely with distributed engineering teams, security researchers, designers, and customers across North America, Europe, and APAC to deliver practical, developer-friendly PQC capabilities.

This is a builder’s role: you will be expected to prototype, iterate, and learn quickly rather than rely on heavy upfront planning.

What you will do

• Own product discovery, definition, and delivery for PQC-related capabilities across platforms and services
• Translate complex cryptographic concepts into clear product requirements and user workflows
• Write concise, effective Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) that engineers actually want to read
• Partner with design and engineering to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on ideas
• Engage with customers, standards bodies, and internal stakeholders across global time zones
• Help shape product strategy around cryptographic discovery, inventory, and lifecycle management
• Stay current with evolving PQC standards, tooling, and ecosystem trends

What you will have

Cryptography & Security Fundamentals

• Foundational understanding of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, including: Common algorithms (e.g., AES, RSA, ECC, ML-KEM, ML-DSA); Awareness of cryptographic libraries and implementation considerations
• Familiarity with cryptographic agility and post-quantum migration concepts

CBOMs & SBOMs

• Experience with or strong understanding of: Cryptographic Bills of Materials (CBOMs); Software Bills of Materials (SBOMs)
• Exposure to standards such as CycloneDX, SPDX, or similar ecosystems is a plus

Software Development & Technical Fluency

• Basic full-stack web development experience, such as: Building or contributing to web applications (frontend, backend, or both); Understanding APIs, data models, and common web architectures
• Practical scripting skills, such as: Bash or similar scripting languages for automation, tooling, or workflows
• Comfort working close to code, even if you are not a full-time engineer

Modern Product & “Vibe Coding” Tooling

• Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of: Visual Studio Code + Copilot; Figma Make; Lovable; Supabase; Other AI-assisted development, design, and prototyping tools
• Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate exploration, prototyping, and documentation

Product Mindset

• Bias toward action, building, and iteration over excessive upfront planning
• Ability to break down ambiguous problems and deliver value incrementally
• Strong written communication skills with a focus on clarity and brevity
• Enjoys speaking directly with customers and partners

Collaboration & Communication

• Experience working across international time zones
• Comfortable engaging with customers and partners globally
• Ability to align engineering, design, and business stakeholders around a shared vision

Nice to have

• Background in PKI, TLS, device identity, or secure software supply chains
• Exposure to regulatory or compliance drivers (e.g., government crypto mandates, security requirements)
• Experience working with developer platforms or security-focused SaaS products
