Product Manager (Onsite)

About you

You are a Product Manager with strong experience leading digital products throughout the full software development lifecycle. You are passionate about building impactful solutions, aligning business goals with user needs, and driving product success through collaboration, strategy, and execution.

You bring a proactive, adaptable, and strategic mindset, capable of navigating complex stakeholder environments, evolving priorities, and fast-paced delivery contexts. You are comfortable working closely with engineering, design, and research teams to define product vision, prioritize initiatives, and ensure high-quality outcomes aligned with business and client expectations.

You thrive in collaborative environments where communication, leadership, and ownership are critical. You are analytical, solution-oriented, and capable of balancing product strategy, operational execution, and stakeholder management while continuously driving product improvement and measurable impact.

• This position is onsite in San Salvador, El Salvador. Candidates based in Colombia, Mexico, or Central America will be considered only if willing to relocate to San Salvador.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
• Product Management certification or specialization.(Desired)
• 5+ years of experience working with software development teams across the full SDLC under Agile methodologies.
• 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Product Leader.
• Strong technical background or software development knowledge, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams.
• Proven experience managing the full product lifecycle from discovery through delivery, launch, and iteration.
• Experience working with complex stakeholder environments, preferably in public sector or highly regulated contexts.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments with evolving priorities, requirements, and constraints.
• Solid understanding of usability, accessibility, scalability, and data security principles.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate risks, manage dependencies, and adjust plans proactively.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with experience tracking product and business metrics.
• Conversational to Full Professional Proficiency in English.
• Availability to work onsite. Candidates outside El Salvador must be willing to relocate temporarily.

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

• Define and execute product strategy aligned with client objectives, public sector requirements, and business outcomes.
• Establish and communicate a clear product vision, connecting MVPs to measurable goals and impact.
• Lead discovery and requirement definition with Design, Research, and Engineering teams.
• Translate insights into actionable roadmaps, epics, user stories, and priorities.
• Partner closely with engineering teams throughout the SDLC to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and complex stakeholder groups.
• Define and oversee functional and non-functional requirements, including accessibility, scalability, usability, and data security.
• Anticipate risks, manage dependencies, and adapt plans to ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor product performance and adoption, using data and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Product Leader.
• Experience working with software development teams under Agile methodologies.
• Strong technical understanding of software development processes and SDLC.
• Experience managing the full product lifecycle.
• Availability to work onsite in San Salvador, El Salvador.
