Avantor, a Global Fortune 500 company, is looking for a highly motivated and data-driven Product Manager, OEM Diagnostic Reagents to join our Lab Specialty Products (LSP) business unit. You will have a leading role in growing our OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) portfolio in direct partnership with our customers and our manufacturing and quality teams. This role will be full-time on-site at our manufacturing site in Gliwice, Poland.
The Product Manager, OEM Diagnostic Reagents will own our customer OEM relationships and coordinate with manufacturing and quality to meet desired specifications, performance, and quality and regulatory standards.
What we’re looking for:
The successful candidate must have excellent communication and influencing skills to drive progress towards shared goals across various functions and stakeholders. The candidate will also be well-versed in histology tissue collection and preservation reagents as well as flow cytometry reagents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owns OEM product line performance, including pricing strategy, margin optimization, and forecasting to meet financial targets and support business expansion.
- Collaborates with customers, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams to meet product specifications, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively engages with OEM customers to provide best-in-class support & relationship management in partnership with sales
- Partner with marketing to position OEM capabilities to drive new partnerships and growth opportunities
- Promotes a culture of integrity, curiosity, and collaboration, encouraging cross-functional engagement and continuous improvement.
How you will thrive and create an impact:
The Product Manager, OEM Diagnostic Reagents will own product line performance through strong partnership with customers and influence across sales, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and marketing functions. With the ability to lead by example and take initiative, the Product Manager, OEM Diagnostic Reagents will deliver best-in-class support to existing OEM customers and expand the portfolio through strategic positioning of OEM capabilities and partnership with commercial for sales execution.
Education & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in life science discipline required; M.S. or MBA preferred ( life science, chemistry, biochemistry, biology)
- Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience including
- Previous experience in Biopharma, biotechnology, or diagnostics industry
- 2 years of experience with histology tissue collection and preservation reagents, as well as flow cytometry reagents (preferred)
- OEM relationship management experience
- Product management experience (pricing strategy, margin optimization, and forecasting)
- Experience working with regulated products, including a solid understanding of medical devices and compliance within regulated environments
- Knowledge of IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) compliance is preferred
- Excellent communication skills both in English and Polish
