Job Description:

The Product Manager, NextGen Office (NGO) owns the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for one or more product areas within the NGO portfolio. This individual applies strong product management fundamentals — discovery, prioritization, experimentation, and measurable KPIs — to define and execute a roadmap that maximizes customer value and business results. The Product Manager partners closely with engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams to bring the roadmap to life and serves as a subject-matter expert and mentor to other product managers, contributing to the company's broader effort to modernize and scale the product management function around strong technology product management craft. For this role, the Product Manager will lead high-priority initiatives across the company's ambulatory EHR and practice management platform, with opportunities to work across clinical documentation, ordering, e-prescribing, scheduling, patient access, and revenue cycle workflows based on evolving customer and business needs.
  • Help define the product strategy and roadmap for assigned healthcare ambulatory software products.
  • Define and prioritize product features based on user needs, market trends, client value, anticipated outcomes, and business objectives.
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, and other teams to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
  • Analyze market data and user feedback to drive product improvements and innovations.
  • Play a significant role in managing the product lifecycle from ideation to product sunset, including requirements gathering, prioritization, development, launch, and phase outs.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and successful product adoption.
  • Prepare and present product performance reports and metrics.
  • Write business cases and refine product roadmaps and strategies in alignment with company goals and customer needs.
  • Mentor junior product managers and contribute to team development and best practices.
  • Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
Education Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, software engineering discipline, or a related field.
  • Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
Experience Required:
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare setting, preferably in practice management and in product management or business analysis.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and management.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools.
  • Experience with ambulatory care software or EHR systems preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of: Strong understanding of both healthcare and technology. Strong understanding of product management principles and software development life cycle. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Skill in: Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to: Balance multiple priorities and manage complex projects.
