About the role
The Product Manager is responsible for managing and expanding the Schottky Rectifier product portfolio within the Product Group Power Bipolar Discretes. This position is based in Hamburg, Germany or Shanghai, China.
This is your new job:
- Responsible for the Schottky Rectifier product portfolio (management of the product life cycle)
- Identification of portfolio gaps, market trends, and competitor portfolio to define and execute the innovative product roadmap
- Responsible for defining product specifications and targets for cost structures of new products
- Creation of business plans for new products and driving the execution to ensure business case fulfillment
- Creation and deployment of technical value propositions and promotion material to position our products in the market
- Collaboration with R&D and other stakeholders on competitor product analysis to derive a comprehensive performance and cost benchmarking
This is you:
- Master’s degree in physics or engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar environment
- Deep understanding of the discrete semiconductor market, competitor landscape, product key parameters, product cost structures, and product applications
- Excellent analytical skills and structured work approach
- Highly self-motivated and committed team player
- Entrepreneurial mindset, taking ownership for business decisions
- Strong customer focus and service orientation
- Intercultural awareness and ability to work in international teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English & German
- Willingness to travel (max. 10%) and to engage with customers on a commercial and technical level
