Job Description:
Assists in the market research, ideation, management, and marketing of limited time offers which include personal care, household, and food or drink products.
Job Responsibilities:
Participates in the product development process, including formula, packaging, positioning, and marketing
Organizes product files and launch schedules for new products
Ensures constant communication between the product marketing team and other departments, including international, purchasing, operations, R&D, regulatory, and creative services
Leads and owns product revisions, reformulations, and new product development while coordinating with the project management team and other departments, as assigned
Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintains research databases
Assists in the creation of business plans, content for marketing materials, PowerPoint presentations, and market research tools
Accomplishes goals through ownership and accountability; explores opportunities to add value to department and company goals
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or other significant product marketing experience
2-4 years of product development experience
Some knowledge of personal care and essential oil industries preferred
Genuine enthusiasm for and interest in a marketing or product development career
Proven organizational skills
Be able to maintain confidentiality throughout the product development process
Proven writing skills
Must work well under pressure
Ability to juggle many projects at once
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
