Company Description
As a Regional KYC & Control Product Manager at Wise, you’ll drive the development and implementation of frictionless KYC and control solutions for the US and Canada. You will work cross-functionally with compliance, engineering, and regional teams. Your focus will be to increase conversion during onboarding and verification while reducing risks and keeping regulatory compliance.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the execution of KYC product roadmap for the US and Canada.

Discover and test new solutions to identify customers and prevent fraud (such as fraud consortiums, and eKYC solutions)
-
Partner with engineering, operations, and customer support teams to improve user journeys and reduce friction.

Ensure fraud controls are working, tested and improved
-
Analyze data to identify trends, improve processes, and mitigate fincrime risks. This is a data heavy role.

Collaborate with compliance stakeholders to ensure Wise stays compliant and up to speed with evolving KYC requirements.
Qualifications
About you:

Analytical and Quick Thinking: Ability to reason and make swift decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Quantitative Expertise: Strong background in Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Data Science, or Computer Science, using numbers to explain complex concepts.

Technical Proficiency: Solid foundation in STEM disciplines, with experience in tools like MATLAB, Python, R, and SQL for data analysis.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Comfortable with large datasets, extracting meaningful insights to inform business strategies.

Product Development Experience: Proven track record of building and shipping products, integrating data insights into actionable strategies.

Business Acumen and Collaboration: Strong understanding of business operations and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
