Job Description

  • Responsibility for the product lifecycle management of the assigned portfolio of vacuum measurement products
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, sales, and external partners to drive product success
  • Market research and drive Voice-of-Customer initiatives to validate product-market fit and refine the value proposition
  • Develop a product strategy and vision that ensures differentiation
  • Drive product positioning and messaging, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies
  • Develop and nurture a product roadmap and manage the product portfolio to deliver the target profitability
  • Define related value selling and marketing tools for effective execution and successful portfolio promotion
  • Facilitate regular product meetings and maintain clear communication among stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability
  • Plan and execute sales trainings, events, and market introductions to drive a robust Go-To-Market strategy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in product management in a technical or engineering industry
  • Strong thinking skills to motivate cross-functional teams and develop product strategies that align with market needs
  • Solid technical acumen in test & measurement instruments, combined with exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities to present information clearly and navigate challenges effectively within a matrix organization
  • Flexibility and collaboration, working effectively with external partners and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional communication skills in English, German is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • MBA or similar advanced degree
  • 2-4 years of product management experience in a technical or engineering industry
  • Technical acumen in test & measurement instruments and vacuum measurement technology
  • Ability to develop product strategy, roadmap, and value proposition
