NVIDIA Jetson is the platform of choice for edge AI and industrial computing applications that are reshaping industries — and Physical AI is having its ChatGPT moment! As the Product Manager for Developer Experience & Platform Excellence, you will set the standard on what the best edge AI platform in the world looks and feels like to build on. This role will lead the performance frontier of Jetson — pushing the limits of real-time compute, low-latency networking, and memory efficiency — while ensuring that every developer who lands on our platform hits the ground running and builds something outstanding. You will own competitive intelligence for Jetson and turn those insights into roadmap decisions.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead the system performance charter for Jetson — real time execution, mixed criticality, low-latency networking, RDMA, and memory optimization — driving requirements, roadmap, and release readiness.
Continuously improve on developer experience — profiling tools, SDK usability, onboarding, documentation, and sample code — so the best developers in the world build their most important products on Jetson.
Lead competitive intelligence for Jetson: track the landscape, benchmark relentlessly, and translate insights into roadmap moves that keep NVIDIA's platform leadership.
Partner with engineering to prioritize performance-critical features and engage with NVIDIA's ecosystem — customers, partners, ISVs, and the broader developer community— to gather deep signal and bring it back into the product process.
What We Need to See:
12+ years in product management, platform engineering, or technical program management in a hardware-software ecosystem, with a Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, or equivalent experience.
Strong grasp of systems performance fundamentals — real-time operating constraints, networking stack, memory subsystems, and latency optimization sufficient to credibly drive requirements with engineering teams.
Experience owning developer-facing products or tooling, with strong instincts for what makes a platform genuinely phenomenal to develop on.
Ways to Stand Out From the Crowd:
Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Jetson platforms and the JetPack SDK.
Background in embedded Linux, BSP, or real-time systems (e.g., Preempt-RT).
Experience with developer experience metrics and tooling (e.g., time-to-first-run, SDK adoption, Profiling tools like Nsight).
We are a team of product leaders obsessed with making Jetson the world's best platform for edge AI and robotics. Jetson is already the platform our industry's best developers reach for first. Your job is to make sure the gap keeps widening!
