ASML installed base is growing rapidly with new system shipment and 96% of all systems ever installed still working. The Business Line DUV develops and sells product options and enhancements designed to improve throughput, patterning performance and overlay for DUV systems. These packages enable customers to optimize the efficiency of running their high-volume manufacturing fabs.
Role and responsibilities
As Product Manager DUV Defectivity & Wafer/Reticle Handling Options your mission will be to untap the potential of this part of our option portfolio and drive the growth of the business in close cooperation with our customer team colleagues in the field. Do you have a very good understanding of our customers’ defectivity needs? Do you have experience in translating customer needs in new products? Do you know how to execute business development activities to create customer awareness and interest? And do you have the interpersonal and commercial skills to find with them the right solutions in our existing option portfolio or create new products meanwhile closely working together with multiple departments, our NPI product management colleagues, and other BL’s (e.g. CS apps, NTP)? Then this position is the perfect opportunity for you!
Finding the right (existing or new) solutions for relevant Defectivity & Wafer/Reticle Handling issues in the customer’s production process together with local experts from CS Apps, the Customer Team and with the NPI Product Managers is the primary task. This requires significant knowledge of our customers production process, a pro-active customer-focused approach and an in-depth knowledge on your product portfolio. Your main responsibilities are:
- Market existing products in your portfolio: you identify market opportunities, drive campaigns, and pro-actively engage with customers to trigger their interest and create demand towards sales to ensure maximum adoption of your products.
- Create new product roadmap tailored towards HVM installed base needs: you will collect ideas for the creation of new options feeding the roadmap for Defectivity & Wafer/Reticle Handling options
- Launch new products: you will define a business plan and a product/market introduction approach. During introduction work closely with process and technology experts at our main customers in order to pro-actively drive adaptation.
- Maintain portfolio: you will make sure the products in your portfolio are relevant, up-to-date and sales information is accurately available
- Realize business targets: you analyze customer needs, translate into long-term financial revenue targets and drive towards realization.
Creating customer satisfaction by finding and delivering the best solutions in cooperation with the DUV Program, CS DUV Upgrades or CS HVM will be your focus area leading into sound financial results for BL DUV. In this role, you will see a good mix of customer technology, business development and business management. In this role, you will be an energetic ambassador driving the change towards pro-active commercial business development.
EducationMaster degree in a technical studyExperience
- >10 years of experience at ASML (preferable BL Apps NTP) or another high tech company
- Excellent application experience and understanding of our customer’s manufacturing process and B2B marketing
- Experience in balancing between own company and customer priorities
- Technical knowledge about the ASML systems and option portfolio
- Product management and business development experience
- Commercial track record

This position is in the DUV Field Upgrades Team. You will report to the Head of DUV UF Options. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
