Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Coordinate with multiple business unit product managers and sales and marketing partners to curate and develop a portfolio of customized products that will provide a compelling reason for consumers to purchase Corsair products instead of competitors’ offerings.
- Engage with manufacturing, engineering and other technical resources to define, develop, improve, and maintain internal customization technologies including printing, painting, and build-to-order final assembly processes that can deliver cost effective solutions for Corsair products and products from the broader family of Corsair owned brands.
- Understand cost and lead-time trade-offs for various customization scopes and technologies and work with business units and marketing partners to guide on the optimum solutions for each product in the customized product portfolio.
- Develop and maintain financial models to be able to report and represent to the company the financial benefit of the current and proposed customized portfolio of products. Recommend and drive opportunities to improve the financial contribution of customized products to the overall company performance.
- Develop a deep understanding of the design and implementation of Corsair custom products through the various IT systems including the webstore front-end, shop floor execution systems, and ERP system. Provide ongoing support for customized products to ensure master data and product set up information including bill of materials and other key attributes set up and maintained properly for custom products to transact properly and efficiently through all relevant systems.
- Represent custom product capabilities, challenges, benefits, and solutions for the company as needed in various portfolio and budget planning and review exercises.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in product management for consumer-packaged goods. Consumer electronics product management experience a plus.
- Fluent Mandarin & English language skills, with proficiency in both spoken and written communication.
- Positive personality, aggressive, enthusiastic, independent, can deal with high pressure.
- Highly organized, analytical, ability to motivate, and manage others.
- Familiar with MS Office software like Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio/Project
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 3 to 5 years' experience in product management for consumer-packaged goods
- Consumer electronics product management experience
- Fluent Mandarin and English, spoken and written
- Experience developing and maintaining financial models
- Highly organized, analytical, ability to motivate and manage others
