  • リリースサポート: 認証の進捗状況に基づき、ローカライゼーションの状況を確認し、サポート体制を確認するとともに、販売代理店向けのSKU単位での製品情報を管理する。

Job Role: Hardware Certification & Program Management (Japan Market)

Role Overview This position provides comprehensive support for the hardware certification process for products in the Japanese market. You will act as a key liaison between the U.S. headquarters compliance team and local stakeholders to ensure seamless product deployment and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities: Hardware Certification Support

  • Process Management: Monitor and manage the certification status of new products intended for the Japanese market in collaboration with the U.S. compliance team.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Track and disseminate updates regarding Japanese regulations (VCCI, Radio/Telecom Giteki, PSE) to relevant teams.
  • Release Support: Verify localization status, confirm support systems, and manage SKU-level product information for distributors based on certification progress.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary contact for internal teams and sales partners regarding certification; negotiate with government authorities and certification bodies as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Drive corrective actions and efficiency improvements to resolve issues during product deployment.

Program Management Responsibilities

  • Lifecycle Management: Plan, execute, and monitor programs to support organizational strategic goals, managing scope, schedule, and resources.
  • Governance & Reporting: Establish governance structures for effective decision-making and provide regular delivery and financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Change Management: Support program objectives and maturity through ongoing communication and change management strategies.
  • Risk & Resource Management: Identify and control interdependencies and project risks; provide training and development to ensure team capability.
  • Complexity Management: Solve complex, high-risk problems through analytical judgment and innovative solutions, while setting success metrics and operational standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of Japanese hardware certification (VCCI, Radio/Telecom Giteki, PSE).
  • Communication: Native/Fluent-level Japanese (written/verbal). Business-level English (written/verbal) for global collaboration, combined with strategic and flexible interpersonal skills.
  • Execution: Proactive ability to research, organize, and drive tasks to completion independently.
  • IT Literacy: Ability to actively learn and utilize various tools.
  • Motivation: Strong drive to acquire deep knowledge of Cisco products.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Deep expertise in product certification or practical experience in management processes.
