The Product Manager, Commerce is a seasoned professional individual contributor with subject matter expertise driving revenue performance across our commerce ecosystem. You'll own features and capabilities within the commerce stack powering Vogue, GQ, Wired, and other iconic brands,  undertaking discovery to compile requirements, conducting user interviews alongside design partners, managing the roadmap and delivery timeline, and ensuring successful development and release. This is an interdisciplinary role requiring fluent collaboration across user experience design, engineering, analytics, editorial, consumer marketing, and commercial revenue teams. Your technical expertise, analytical mindset, and relentless curiosity will help uncover new revenue opportunities and improve commerce performance at scale.
 

Responsibilities

  • Write product briefs for technical and consumer-facing commerce products/features

  • Oversee engineering inceptions related to product briefs

  • Own and help optimize our core commerce tech stack: affiliate platforms, product feed and tagging tools, and integrations with retail partners and affiliate networks (Skimlinks, Rakuten, Amazon Associates, ShareASale/Impact)

  • Create and maintain a backlog of tickets with clear user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Lead sprint refinement, planning, and retrospectives

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and according to specifications, managing across time zones and geographies

  • Monitor key revenue metrics, click-through rate, conversion rate, average order value, and revenue per session , and use data to inform prioritization

  • Manage performance dashboards, delivering regular revenue insights to stakeholders

  • Support incident response for commerce delivery issues (broken links, feed outages, tracking gaps)

  • Communicate roadmaps and priorities to business stakeholders across the organization

  • Set OKRs and measure progress against them

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of product management experience, ideally with exposure to commerce, affiliate marketing, or e-commerce

  • Strong analytical foundation: SQL, A/B testing, and experience with data visualization tools

  • Track record of shipping features that drove measurable revenue or engagement improvements

  • Comfort with technical problem-solving: experience working with engineers to debug product feed, tracking, or conversion funnel issues

  • Strong writing skills for product briefs, user stories, and stakeholder communication

  • Natural curiosity: passion for understanding shopper behavior, testing new approaches, and continuous learning

The expected base salary range for this position is from $115,000-$135,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
