We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the development and delivery of Agentic Commerce capabilities for our Card Members. This Senior Product Manager will focus on the strategy and execution of the frameworks, features, and services that enable seamless, secure transactions across various channels. This person will build a strong command of emerging agentic commerce protocols, existing card payments infrastructure, and new interaction models. Partnering closely with Engineering, Product, and cross-functional teams, this Product Manager will shape intuitive and delightful commerce journeys powered by AI agents.
Responsibilities- Partner deeply with engineering teams to understand and develop a perspective on how to apply evolving technologies (Agent-to-Agent Protocol, Agentic Payments Protocol, x402, Web Bot Auth, Trusted Agent Protocol, Model Context Protocol, and others) for AI agent-facilitated payments
- Balance the needs of customers, internal stakeholders, leadership, and external partners while working with engineers and solutions architects to identify technical solutions, define specs, shape product requirements, and deliver platform capabilities that continually advance Agentic Commerce experiences
- Partner closely with Fraud and Servicing to define strategies for fraud prevention, disputes management, and call or chat handling related to agentic transactions
- Partner closely with Network and Product teams to define and champion industry standards and protocols for agentic payments
- Partner with internal stakeholders such as Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to develop and adhere to data governance principles and payments regulation to ensure compliant and secure payment experiences
- Work cross functionally to define requirements and specifications for data sharing across and integrations with merchants, PSPs, and AI/LLM partners to support fraud, servicing, and cardmember experience
- Partner closely with UX research, design, Web and Mobile Application teams to design, build, and launch delightful self-service dashboards and experiences
- Work with Business Development teams to evaluate, influence and operationalize partner requirements, and with Product Enablement teams on go-to-market strategies
- Keep a pulse on industry trends, balancing the near-term execution priorities with long term strategy to support the overall product vision
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in product development/management, or similar role.
- Experience with issuer payments including digital payments, fraud prevention, disputes, and payment processing.
- Enthusiasm for exceptional products and services, deep customer empathy, keen product intuition, and skilled at articulation of product functionality
- Curiosity and hunger to know how things work and ability to use that knowledge to make connections and find opportunities with the tenacity to push innovation agenda inside a large company
- Understanding of tech and product development processes, with the ability to communicate with and influence both technical and non-technical partners
- Ability to reconcile competing needs across customers, stakeholders, and partners, making effective decisions and gaining buy in
- Detail oriented, able to identify key questions, and assess how pieces of the puzzle interact and affect the overall project.
- Ability to recognize issues quickly and determine how to get a resolution through creative and efficient problem solving.
- Skilled at balancing big picture strategy and tactical details
- Team player, comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable, accountable, and highly organized
- Excellent communication skills across cross functional teams with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment.
- Willingness to be creative within the bounds of the highly regulated financial services environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with LLMs/AI models a plus.
