The Work You'll Do:
The Product Manager – Business Intelligence & Embedded Analytics is responsible for driving the strategy, execution, and growth of BI and embedded analytics capabilities within the Sovos portfolio. This role combines product management with strong expertise in dashboards, KPI frameworks, embedded analytics, and data visualization to deliver scalable analytics solutions that improve customer experience and business outcomes.
The role partners closely with Engineering, Professional Services, Sales, and Partners to define and deliver analytics-driven product capabilities, including pre-built dashboards, customizable reports, KPI monitoring, and analytics-as-a-service offerings.
More specifically you will:
- Own and execute the product roadmap for BI, dashboards, reporting, and embedded analytics capabilities
- Design and configure KPI dashboards for compliance monitoring, reconciliation trends, and data quality metrics
- Define data visualization strategies and create scalable dashboard and reporting templates
- Partner with development teams on embedded BI integrations, APIs, and analytics configuration
- Translate customer and market needs into analytics-driven product capabilities and roadmap priorities
- Contribute to Agile product delivery, including epics, backlog prioritization, release planning, and user stories
- Support partner and customer enablement through white-label dashboards, analytics templates, and embedded reporting solutions
- Define BI governance, dashboard best practices, and KPI frameworks
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Partners to drive adoption and go-to-market success
- Contribute to product positioning, pricing, and growth strategies for analytics-enabled solutions
What We Need From You:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, MIS, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- Experience in Product Management with strong exposure to BI tools, embedded analytics, or data visualization platforms
- Strong understanding of dashboard design, KPI frameworks, data modeling, and SQL
- Experience with BI tools, embedded analytics integrations, APIs, and reporting platforms
- Knowledge of Agile product development processes and roadmap management
- Background in ERP systems, VAT/GST, SAF-T, or tax compliance solutions is a plus
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
- Fluent written and spoken English required; additional European languages are an advantage
