Position Description
This hybrid position covers end‑to‑end delivery of client‑facing mobile (Android/iOS) and web applications used by retail and professional investors — from defining requirements and managing projects to contributing to technical solution design and implementation.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, UX/UI designers, and the development team to deliver secure, compliant, and high‑performance wealth management applications that meet user needs and regulatory standards.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Product / Business Analysis
Define application strategy and roadmap aligned with Wealth Management business goals and compliance requirements.
Conduct user demand analysis, market research, and competitive benchmarking to drive product iteration and improve user experience.
Create detailed requirements documents, PRDs, and interactive prototypes for core features (market data, trading, investment products, account services, news/research).
Track post‑implementation KPIs and monitor user feedback; lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Project Delivery
Lead the delivery of technology projects from planning through rollout, ensuring alignment to governance frameworks.
Manage project scope, schedules, and resources; ensure quality standards are met.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to secure timely delivery.
Report on project status and escalate risks/issues where necessary.
Technical Collaboration
Work closely with developers and architects to design, review, and optimise technical solutions.
Participate in application development when needed, using relevant technologies:
Mobile: Java/Kotlin (Android), Swift/Objective‑C (iOS)
Web: JavaScript/TypeScript with Vue.js/React; Node.js integration
Contribute to base architecture, CI/CD pipelines, performance monitoring, and secure coding practices.
Support UAT and QA processes; ensure appropriate unit testing and documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Finance, Economics or related discipline. PMP/Product Owner certification preferred.
5 -10 years’ experience in technology delivery within securities, trading, or wealth management domains, combining product/project management with technical collaboration. (Candidates with more experience may be considered for Sr Product Manager/Project Manager)
Able to independently produce detailed product workflows and requirement documents; proficient in Visio, Axure, or Mockplus, capable of producing complete PRDs and interactive prototypes.
Programming proficiency in at least one relevant language/stack (Java/Kotlin, Swift/Objective‑C, JavaScript/TypeScript).
Strong logical thinking with a clear, structured approach; capable of abstracting product functions from complex processes.
Familiarity with global market trading operations and the ability to quickly acquire new business rules; demonstrates a strong spirit of inquiry and resilience under pressure.
Excellent communication and coordination skills; proactive, highly responsible, and capable of managing cross‑department collaboration.
Fluent in English and Mandarin.
Additional Requirements
In‑depth knowledge of Android OS internals, memory management, multithreading, and network programming.
Experience with Flutter or Kotlin Multiplatform.
HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript; skilled in Vue.js or other mainstream frameworks.
Understanding of Objective‑C runtime, memory management, and iOS internals; familiarity with UIKit, SwiftUI, and mainstream frameworks.
Hands‑on development or product management experience with iOS or Android applications.
Experience in Web3 front‑end or Node.js integrations.
Knowledge of secure coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimisation techniques.
