At Chanel, the digital transformation of our operational landscape is accelerating, with a growing focus on harnessing advanced analytics and artificial intelligence (from ML to LLM and Agentic) to optimize our supply chain, sales performance, boutique operations…. As Product Manager AI, you will be a key player within a rapidly evolving Data & Analytics team that is currently being reorganized around groups of data domains, so it is better positioned to meet the needs of our internal partners.
You will be responsible for defining and building impactful AI and advanced analytics solutions to ensure that our divisions and markets benefit from robust, innovative, and actionable AI-driven tools.
Reporting to the Analytics Manager Finance, Operation and Sales, you will lead a multidisciplinary squad (of Data Scientists and ML Engineers) and collaborate closely with our Tech team as well as our supply chain, sales and boutique operations experts. You will operate within an agile framework, overseeing the lifecycle of AI products from discovery and validation to continuous improvement, always focused on delivering measurable business value.
Your main missions:
Squad Leadership
- Lead a squad of Data Scientists and ML Engineers in an agile (Scrum-like) environment
- Foster a culture of trust, technical excellence, and innovation, encouraging initiative and an entrepreneurial mindset
Product Management
- Define the vision, roadmap, and backlog for AI and advanced analytics products supporting supply, sales, and boutique operations
- Prioritize development and deployment efforts based on business impact and stakeholder needs
- Ensure rigorous methodologies for model evaluation, monitoring, and continuous improvement to guarantee effectiveness and relevance
- Champion the use of existing AI solutions and best practices, avoiding unnecessary reinvention
Collaboration
- Act as the central interface between Digital, Tech, supply, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their operational needs, translating them into tailored AI solutions
- Collaborate with the BI and Ad-hoc Analysis squads to ensure a unified data and analytics strategy across all domains, as well as the tech team to foster excellence in execution
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with business users, acting as a facilitator for change and innovation
Market & Technology Monitoring
- Stay ahead of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive practices in AI and advanced analytics
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes and adopt new technologies, ensuring Chanel remains at the cutting edge

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- +5 years of significant experience in AI product management and delivery, ideally within supply chain, sales, or operations
- Strong expertise in data science (machine learning as well as LLM and agentic) & experience with model evaluation methodologies and MLOps
- Mastery of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), with a strong product mindset applied to AI solutions
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts, data pipelines, and a good understanding of the AI technology landscape and maturity
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English, able to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven leadership, diplomacy, and the ability to drive projects in international, matrixed organizations
- Experience in the retail or luxury sector is a plus
