The Role
We are seeking a Platform Product Manager to drive the strategy, vision, and execution for the next-generation core engine powering our Cloud and Application Security platform.
In this strategic, high-leverage role leading dedicated core engineering teams, you will design the foundation that powers our security engine and build the seamless integration framework that allows other Imperva products and services to connect into our core ecosystem.

Your Impact
As the Product Manager you will drive foundational initiatives that directly amplify the power, speed, and capability of our cloud security suite:
- Shape the platform of the future, ensuring it can meet next-generation security demands.
- Enable seamless cross-product integration across the platform.
- Bridge strategy & core infrastructure to maximize R&D output.
Responsibilities
- Lead product strategy, prioritization, and backlog management for core engineering teams, aligning technical delivery with enterprise outcomes.
- Establish platform standards, interfaces, and capabilities to streamline internal products interoperability.
- Partner closely with R&D leaders, and cross-functional product managers to ensure the core engine supports future product innovations.
- Define and track key platform metrics.
- Drive alignment across executive and technical stakeholders, translating complex platform capabilities into business value.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Product Management experience, leading platform products, cloud infrastructure, core developer tools, or backend enterprise solutions.
- Strong strategic & technical aptitude: proven track record of defining a clear strategy and translating complex systems needs into actionable product roadmaps.
- Knowledge of core networking concepts, proxy architectures, or web security fundamentals.
- Cross-functional leadership: ability to align multiple engineering teams, influence technical leaders, and drive consensus across organizational boundaries.
- Strategic problem solver: skilled at balancing foundational platform evolution with immediate cross-product delivery needs.
Preferred Qualifications (Advantage)
- Previous experience in engineering, system architecture, or other technical lead role.
- Platform & API integration experience: deep understanding of modern cloud architecture, APIs, microservices patterns, and platform ecosystem design.
- Experience working in modern agile environments (e.g., SAFe, Scrum).
- Experience building software platforms designed for internal cross-team enablement or developer ecosystem growth.
