Global Supply Chain Solution Delivery – Product Management Manager
What You’ll Do
The Global Solution Delivery organization leads the evolving software and systems for our eCommerce and retail distribution Systems function. We solve a wide array of tactical and strategic initiatives enabling TJX to make faster, smarter decisions every day as well as deliver for our customers.
We have an immediate opening for a motivated and driven Product Manager to join our Global Supply Chain Solution Delivery team. You will assist managing our Material Handling Systems and Automation (MHE) products and implementations in conjunction with our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) teams. In this role you will lead the intake, prioritization, planning and delivery of new business value, specifically in the MHE area. Your ability to combine technical, operational, and design of large-scale, multi-site supply chain and material handling implementations will be critical to the team’s success. Following the design, a key element will entail leading diverse teams through the build and launch of MHE/Automation systems, leveraging your ability to train, develop, adapt, and manage. Along the way you will support the product lifecycle, drive roadmap & backlog management and support agile delivery aligned with IT and Business strategy. You will work in a fast-paced environment which will present you with opportunities to think creatively, take initiative and grow as a leader in support of our rapidly growing Global MHE/Automation business including all of TJX’s banners.
What You’ll Need
As a team member on this tightly knit and fast-paced solution delivery team you will be challenged to stretch and think outside the box as it pertains to a strong understanding of MHE and WMS in the Fulfillment and Retail Distribution spaces. Being successful in this role requires you to combine strong analytical skills with an agile mindset to identify, plan, and track value aligned with strategic roadmaps. The ability to build relationships with business and IT stakeholders and lead collaboratively to deliver results is critical to the success of the team.
You will be working with Business stakeholders, peer IT product teams and external vendors to strategically plan and deliver product features by connecting the technical and business worlds. You will need to break down complex problems into incremental steps that drive product development in support of program priorities, and balance the needs and priorities of multiple business partners; matching solution delivery capacity with the highest impact/value initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong WMS (Manhattan is a plus) and MHE/Automation systems knowledge/experience
- Functional knowledge, preferably in fulfillment, distribution, and warehouse management areas
- Toyota Automated Logistics Systems, TREW, Dematic, Honeywell (or similar integrator) experience desired
- Experience designing, integrating and implementing technologies such as an ASRS, Berkshire Grey or Tilt tray selection, AMRs, and various robotic solutions
- Technically on-boarding new vendors and technologies, ensuring architectural, AI, and security governance is adhered to
- Proven success delivering results as a self-starter in a highly collaborative, matrix environment
- Strong critical thinking with demonstrated ability to proactively manage stakeholder expectations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, tailoring to audiences
- 5+ years of relevant experience in an agile delivery framework, strategy or requirement development
- 3+ years experience as a Product Manager, including product lifecycle management, backlog management / prioritization, business case development, and cost/benefit analysis
- Relevant undergraduate BA, BS degree in IT or Business or equivalent experience
