Role Description:
Symphony is seeking a creative, driven, and experienced Product Management Lead to spearhead the future of trader voice on our Cloud9 platform. You will be at the center of our mission to replace legacy hardware turrets with innovative, cloud-based voice communication solutions for the world’s top financial institutions.
In this leadership role, you will own the product lifecycle, manage cross-functional initiatives, and drive the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new products that are modernizing the trading floor.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Ownership: Define and execute the product vision for the Cloud9 platform, transitioning customers from hardware-centric legacy systems to cloud-native voice solutions.
- End-to-End Launch: Drive the full product development lifecycle, specifically focusing on launching new products to market and ensuring successful commercial adoption.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the central hub for communication, interacting with all internal teams to effectively communicate product information and progress.
- Technical Translation: Expertly translate complex business needs and trader workflows into actionable technical requirements for engineering teams.
- Agile Leadership: Apply a strong background in Agile product methodology and project management to oversee backlogs, sprints, and iterative releases.
- Market Leadership: Conduct deep market research into the trader voice ecosystem to stay ahead of competitive moves and evolving compliance standards.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and leadership to more junior members of the product team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
- Metrics & Analysis: Monitor post-launch performance, reporting on adoption metrics and system performance to inform future iterations.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Senior Product Manager with a proven track record of scaling complex software and financial technology products
- Management: Previous experience in a management or lead capacity, with a proven track record of driving results through cross-functional teams.
- Trader Voice Expertise: Familiarity with the trader voice space, unified communications (UCC), or high-stakes voice communication environments.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong background with Agile product methodology and a "bridge-builder" mentality between business stakeholders and engineers.
- GTM Track Record: Demonstrated experience successfully launching new products to market from ideation through to scale.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to both C-suite executives and technical developers.
Technical & Domain Pluses:
- Voice Technologies: Direct experience with VOIP, telephony, or voice trading technologies.
- Protocols: Technical understanding of SIP and/or WebRTC.
- Markets: A solid understanding of financial markets, networking concepts, and financial compliance standards.
- Data: Hands-on experience with SQL, DOMO, or modern product analytics platforms.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $180,000 - 200,000 base
