What is the opportunity?

As a Product Line Manager with the Horizon Solutions PM team, you will be responsible for executing the product strategy for an ever-improving user experience for Horizon portfolio customers.  The role requires strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, usability experience, and ability to influence and execute cross functional teams from engineering to support. You will combine these skills to create a shared vision for Horizon 8 and Horizon Cloud and be an advocate of your solutions to our customers and the market.  This particular role will have more focus on Cloud and Desktop as a Service based offerings. Here is the breakdown:

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for Horizon Solutions segments
  • Deliver an autonomous workspace solution which is friction-free end-user experience for Horizon users
  • Work directly with customers and partners to understand their issues and address with product enhancements, leverage customer feedback as a key component of product planning 
  • Analyze and evaluate complementary and competitive products, technologies, and solutions
  • Manage the product development process from inception to product delivery; write requirements, provide detailed customer use cases and UI mockups, install daily builds, work with engineering, and ship the product in multiple languages 
  • Work with the UX team to gather data and improve user flows 
  • Work closely with business development, product marketing, and ecosystem engineering to ensure product readiness at worldwide at launch
  • Write Reviewer’s Guides, White Papers, Blogs, Competitive Analysis and other technically-focused product marketing documents 
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales and partners to drive revenue opportunities

What will you bring to Omnissa?

  • 8+ years of experience in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS), or closely related end-user computing platforms.
  • Deep technical knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure3, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, Azure Arc, Azure Local, and Hyper-V, with a strong understanding of how these services enable hybrid and multi-cloud desktop delivery architectures.
  • Strong familiarity with public cloud–based desktop solutions such as Amazon WorkSpaces Core, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), along with experience supporting private cloud environments including Broadcom VMware SDDC and Nutanix.
  • Proven analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a track record of translating complex technical opportunities into differentiated products and roadmap execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to author clear product requirements (PRDs), manage complex product backlogs, and work closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality releases.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product marketing, business development, program management, customer success, support, and go-to-market teams to drive successful product launches.
  • Experience working within Agile product development environments, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and release coordination.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Public speaking and customer-facing presentation experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility with enterprise customers, strategic partners, field sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Some travel required for customer engagements, partner collaboration, and industry events.

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise with VDI and DaaS architectures, including deployment models, image lifecycle management, networking, identity integration, and performance optimization.
  • 3–5 years of Product Management experience, preferably in enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or end-user computing.
  • Prior experience in product management within an enterprise software company.

Location: Mountain View CA (on site), USA (remote)  

Travel Expectations: occasional travel Domestic/International only if business demands.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

Compensation: The typical base salary for this role is between USD $173,887 – $362,250 per year and it may be eligible for participation in a corporate bonus program. Actual compensation offer may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, or other relevant factors.
