ABOUT THE POSITION 

The Product Line Management Specialist – Footwear executes the strategy, development, and execution of seasonal product assortments across Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer, including the Performance Fishing business. In this role, you will build consumer-driven, commercially successful product lines that support brand objectives, revenue growth, and profitability. Working cross-functionally, you will deliver innovative products, seasonal solutions, and seamless Go-to-Market execution across wholesale, eCommerce, and direct-to-consumer channels while serving as the voice of the outdoor consumer and angler.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Execute seasonal product strategies and line plans across Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer product cycles for Men’s and Women’s categories.
  • Analyze consumer insights, market trends, competitive landscapes, and business performance to identify growth opportunities and product innovations.
  • Build and manage seasonal assortments aligned with category objectives, revenue targets, margin goals, and brand positioning.
  • Partner with Design and Product Development teams to create performance-driven products that meet the needs of anglers and outdoor consumers.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Merchandising, Design, Development, Sourcing, Planning, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Manufacturing throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Facilitate seasonal milestone meetings, assortment reviews, pricing discussions, and Go-to-Market checkpoints to ensure alignment, accountability, and on-time execution.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing, Manufacturing, Finance, and Planning partners to balance quality, cost, speed-to-market, forecasting, inventory planning, and margin expectations while proactively managing business risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with Marketing teams to develop product positioning, seasonal storytelling, launch strategies, and consumer-focused communications.
  • Support Sales teams through line reviews, customer presentations, product training, sell-in tools, and assortment recommendations.
  • Optimize product assortments across Wholesale, Direct-to-Consumer, eCommerce, and Key Account channels to meet business needs.
  • Monitor product and category performance, leveraging sales data and consumer feedback to inform product lifecycle decisions and future line planning.
  • Champion process improvements, operational efficiencies, and best practices while ensuring all product decisions support brand strategy, marketplace relevance, and long-term business growth.

YOU HAVE 

  • 5-8 years of experience in Product Line Management, Merchandising, Product Management, or a related field.
  • Experience working within a consumer products, apparel, footwear, outdoor, or performance-driven product organization.
  • Strong analytical and business planning skills, including experience using consumer, sales, and market data to inform decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while balancing consumer needs, brand objectives, and business goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, Product Management, or a related field preferred.
