We're looking for a Product Lead who can support the Product team by aligning day-to-day execution with the company's product strategy, fostering collaboration, and providing hands-on assistance in product implementation. The role involves mentoring team members, removing obstacles, and ensuring cross-functional alignment with teams like Engineering, Marketing, and Sales. The Product Lead will drive product success by maintaining strategic cohesion, improving execution efficiency, and facilitating better decision-making across the product lifecycle.

What to expect:

  • Support successful product launches by creating internal and customer-facing documentation, building awareness through various communication channels, and contributing to product marketing strategy
  • Use data-driven and intuition-based decision-making, particularly in cases where ambiguity exists
  • Ensure a focus on and advocate for building user-centric product experiences by working closely with product designers and recognizing the importance of user experience
  • Drive product success by closely aligning and adapting communications to various audiences and seek input to ensure understanding, trust, and empower decentralized decision-making
  • Leverage strong situational awareness to maintain day-to-day alignment with strategy, collaborating with PMs to forecast potential complications, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks
  • Collaboratively shape, communicate, and drive execution of a holistic and adaptable product strategy that aligns with company goals, ensuring all domains are working towards a shared vision
  • Work with a team that seeks to understand the rationale behind decisions, and engage in constructive challenges to assumptions in a lean, iterative environment
  • Empower and develop product team members through mentorship and eventually management, encouraging experimentation with new models, frameworks, methodologies and trends

What we are looking for:

  • 3 years of experience in software Product Management and working with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Very comfortable with technical conversations, ability to quickly understand technical specifications and limitations. Not required to have the same level of knowledge and understanding as Engineers or EMs, but must be able to quickly pick up important details and understand technical implications.
  • Experience mentoring or managing product professionals.
  • Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Experience using tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment, Amplitude, or similar platforms to make informed decisions and identify opportunities for product improvements.
  • Possess a strong understanding of SaaS, subscription-based businesses, and experience with either B2B or B2C products.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with business strategy, market positioning, pricing
  • Experience working with or implementing product-led growth, or working with emerging technologies like ML/AI
  • Entrepreneurial experience, experience leading product strategy at other companies, experience managing a team
  • Experience successfully launching a new product
  • Bringing new perspectives and experiences from past roles to apply to Badger and help individuals on the team to grow
