All about the role:

For our Business Area Europe & Asia, Product Line "Taste", we are looking for a driven and engaged new team member in the ovens category. As the Product Innovation Manager, you will be responsible to drive oven innovation projects from idea generation to market launch, primarily for Europe. The main mission will be to understand the market and our consumers, creating ideas about future taste experiences and translating them into commercially viable products. The role offers a great opportunity to learn about the business across the Business Area and it will also help you create a helicopter view of the category, being involved in strategic innovation activities.

What you'll do:

  • Identify new opportunities by deep understanding of consumer insight, market trends and competitive gaps.
  • Participate actively in the development of new consumer experience ideas.
  • Translate ideas into product concepts based on relevant consumer insights.
  • Lead your innovation core team, together with R&D and Design and bring ideas through the Product Experience Council.
  • Actively be the Product Line lead and together with R&D, Design drive the product development process through its different phases.
  • Prepare and share product specification documents, ensuring timely sharing of new product information.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure timely and effective development of marketing assets to support the commercial launch.
  • Collaborate closely with the Commercial team to define range architecture, business cases and commercial strategy for the opportunities identified.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in product innovation, marketing or commercial areas
  • Experience across product development, market analysis, consumer insight, ranging and pricing is highly preferred
  • Profit & loss acumen is preferred
  • Project management skills, able to plan and lead a team to defined milestones
  • Experience managing complex topics and cross-functional teams, with leadership of the team in terms of project/innovation accountability
  • Great communication skills and the ability to convince, influence and motivate others
  • Passion for products, digitalization and innovation and ability to transmit that energy to a team

This is a full-time position based preferably in Rothenburg, Germany or Forli, Italy.
