The Opportunity:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer needs, and opportunities for innovation on products and services.
- Drive the development of new products and improvement of existing products to support the company's business and underwriting goals
Your new role:
- Create and manage product roadmaps
- Oversee the prototyping, testing and validation of new products or features before launch
- Monitor product performance and generate actionable insight to support data driven decisions
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including distribution, underwriting, pricing, IT, Operations, Finance and Data & Analytics
- Assess potential risks associated with new product launch and product refresh and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Foster a culture of creativity and innovation
About you:
- General insurance product knowledge and experience in product development
- Strong financial and underwriting knowledge
- Strong critical thinker, communicator and presenter
- Proven experience of working with senior executives and multiple stakeholders
- Significant project management experience.
- Experience with process design, evaluation and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Insurance certification e.g. CII or related professional certification.
