Job Summary & Responsibilities

We are seeking a visionary Global Product Information Manager to architect, scale, and govern Brady’s enterprise product data ecosystem. In this high-impact role, you will own the global data blueprint for our portfolio, designing scalable Information Architecture (IA) and structured content models that power both traditional digital channels and next-generation AI applications. As a strategic leader, you will balance technical excellence—including data schema design, taxonomy modeling, and system integration—with strategic leadership and mentorship. You will empower a global team of analysts and stewards, instilling a rigorous, strategic approach to data management that accelerates Brady’s digital transformation.

Serving as a cornerstone of Brady’s Digital Product organization, you will optimize our PIM system to drive global marketing and sales initiatives. You will lead cross-functional strategic initiatives, fostering deep partnerships with Product Management, Web, Supply Chain, and Global IT. As a key member of the Product Information Management Steering Council, you will define the long-term roadmap for the tools and processes essential to our global competitive advantage.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Design the Global Schema: Establish and scale the global product taxonomy, categorization, and localization rules within the enterprise PIM system.
  • Define Inheritance Hierarchies: Build complex attribute inheritance models that support regional variations while maintaining global data integrity.
  • Integrate Systems: Map data structures between the PIM platform, enterprise ERP (e.g., SAP/Oracle), Channel Partner systems, and downstream digital channels and applications.
  • Enforce Data Standards: Create and implement global data dictionaries, validation rules, and mandatory completeness thresholds.
  • Audit System Health: Run regular data quality audits to detect anomalies, broken relationships, or schema non-compliance across contexts.
  • Lead Change Management: Direct the global change control process to review, approve, and deploy updates to the core data model.
  • Align Global Stakeholders: Partner with international product, marketing, legal, and supply chain teams to harmonize localized data requirements.
  • Partner with IT: Provide technical and system requirements to guide the direction for the product roadmap.
  • Mentor and Coach: Oversee a decentralized team of regional data analysts and stewards, providing active mentorship to elevate their data literacy.
  • Train Users: Develop documentation and deliver training programs on data modeling best practices for regional data stewards.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external PIM vendors and system integrators to optimize platform configuration and feature roadmaps as needed.
