We are seeking a seasoned Operational Finance Executive to serve as a strategic partner to our Product Management and Engineering leadership. This role will lead financial operations for a multi-billion dollar global portfolio, focusing on grid modernization, software-enabled services, and large-scale infrastructure investments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving ROIC-based capital allocation and navigating complex revenue recognition (ASC 606) within the industrial and technology sectors.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Drive software-led business and regional strategy:
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Regional GMs, Strategy, and Services delivery teams to develop long-term product and regional strategies that support growth. Translate strategy into the Annual Operating Plan through prioritized initiatives and capital allocation decisions informed by ROIC.
Optimize product investment:
- Benchmark product investment as a percentage of revenue against external comparables to support investment optimization. Identify the right balance of capital allocation between GridOS and Heritage portfolios.
Strengthen delivery accountability:
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and system integrator partners to drive on-time delivery with the required quality and service-level performance.
Establish governance for future orders:
- Work with Product, Commercial, and Services teams to define governance and decision rules for roadmap commitments and non-roadmap requests. Develop processes to evaluate and support pricing bids tied to delivery obligations on new opportunities.
Support resource location strategy:
- Partner with HR, Product Leadership, R&D Finance, and system integrators to optimize the cost mix and location strategy for resources.
Drive pricing and capital allocation discipline:
- Lead the development and adoption of pricing review frameworks and improve their effectiveness. Support Product Management in understanding financial performance, applying ROIC-based investment principles, and strengthening ownership of pricing decisions.
Enable prioritization of customer commitments:
- Partner with Services Finance and Commercial Finance to improve processes for identifying product dependencies across projects and deals. Help Product Management prioritize work to reduce liquidated damages, avoid revenue leakage, and improve delivery outcomes.
Enhance profitability analytics:
- Develop and improve profitability views by product, customer, and project to support growth, expand gross margin, and improve business performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
- 10+ years of Operational Finance experience, including CMR and 606 accounting, or Commercial Finance experience, including product finance
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership in global industrial or technology industries, proven ability to lead cross-functional operating cadences aligning Finance, Procurement, Engineering and Go-To-Market (GTM) leaders
Desired Characteristics
- CPA or MBA strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of SAP (Fusion), Oracle Fusion, and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
- Financial control experience in a public company
- Demonstrated team leadership capability

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $147,400.00 and $245,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
