Summary:
Perform a variety of routine duties related to manual and automated assembly and/or injection molding press duties may include assembly, operating/monitoring equipment, inspection, and packaging of products in accordance with specified requirements ensuring continuous and efficient flow

Duties:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts in order to ensure compliance with specified requirements.
- May be required to work with quality plans or other documents.
- Use basic math, fixed, and adjustable measuring instruments, charts, and logs to perform calculations to assure product meets specified requirements.
- Monitor automation system for outputs (Yield & Utilization) and general performance.
- Inform Team Leader, technician, or supervisor of issues impacting system performance.
- Package and label product in accordance with work instructions and quality plans.
- Inform supervisor on any deviation and/or product specification problem.
- Provide suggestions regarding continuous improvement activities relative to production processes and product quality.
- Work in a clean environment.
- Observe all health and safety requirements and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Perform all related duties as assigned.
Skills:
Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, and quality plans. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to interpret graphs and charts. Ability to get along with coworkers and work in a team environment. Ability to coordinate the work effort of others.
