Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineering Director located in Shenzhen.
The Product Engineering Director is accountable for a team regarding failure analysis including solution development for next generation high power supply and battery back-up unit. This job requires engagement with multiple groups on product engineering, failure analysis and latest trouble-shooting technology.
What a typical day looks like:
Leading and developing team for product engineering and failure analysis with below responsibilities:
Driving failure analysis requirement in product early stage
Developing, defining and maintaining failure analysis solution, equipment & stations
Driving failure analysis during early stage and industrialization phase
Providing failure analysis solution and support for mass production sites
Providing failure analysis training for mass production sites
Working with across functional teams to ensure product industrialization meet time, cost UPH and quality target etc.
Supporting analysis for DOA/RMA or other return together with Quality, Site FA, RD and other team
Troubleshooting system applications on customer's request
Resolving engineering issues regarding system applications
Conducting regular follow-up on customer's system level activities
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Bachelor (or above) in power electronics or electrical, automation
10+ years in engineering or design experience with over 5+ years leadership experience, prefer in power supply unit or battery backup unit industry
Good Power electronics/power supply/battery backup unit knowledge and strong insight for latest production/product technology trend
Strong logical thinking ability and issue analysis ability
Strong leadership skill with global thinking
Self-motivated, passionate work, eager to learn and grow, good teamwork
Fluent English skill for both oral and written
