What will you do?
Implement product engineering initiatives efficiently, under corporate policies, procedures, and specifications to produce within the parameters of quality and target cost.
Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on the production line.
Collaborate with all departments of the plant to find the root cause and solution of problems related to design, quality, suppliers, product, or process.
Promote Design for Manufacturability philosophy and simplify complex specifications into logical design requirements.
Prepare, check, and coordinate the release of documentation to support component design and application.
Participate in design reviews and project communication, representing engineering in cross-functional activities.
What we look for:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably in industrial refrigeration.
Ability to travel 5 to 10%.
Preferred: Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
HVAC or manufacturing experience is a plus.
