About the role Job SummaryThe Sr. Design Engineer is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of plant buildings and machinery. This role ensures that engineering solutions meet operational, safety, and environmental standards while supporting continuous improvement in plant infrastructure and equipment.
This job profile is intended for experienced professionals who apply practical knowledge of a job area and work independently with general supervision.
Purpose of the job
· Support daily product and technical inquiries inside factory and sales unit
· Support daily ordering handling with the supervision of lead product engineer
· Maintain ERP master data, Routing and BOM in ERP system
· Release and follow up ECN and maintain technical drawings
· Support other departments on technical aspects
Main tasks and responsibilities
· Support daily product and technical inquiries inside factory and sales companies before and after order entry
· Support daily internal order handling, such as item number, configuration, BOM check of sales orders to ensure clean order enters the ERP system
· Maintain ERP master data, Routing and BOM in ERP system to ensure correct product data setting in ERP system
· Maintain technical documents and engineering change to ensure all other departments to work with update and valid technical documents
· Support other departments on technical aspects, including support supply chain on localization, support cost calculation and production
· Contact point with other MUs to get necessary technical support
· Support the new product transferring in Kunshan factory
· Other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities assigned by his direct manager and the company
Educational background
· Above diploma degree in engineering or related discipline
Professional experience
· 2 years or more experience on technical work in manufacturing environment, understanding of manufacturing processes (excellent fresh graduate is acceptable)
Personal strengths
· Structured thinking and good communication skill
· Hands-on, skilled use of multimeter, oscilloscope, power analyzer and other test equipment operation
· Willing to learn more
· Team Worker
· Understanding of work with ERP , SAP experience will be an advantage.
· Familiar with application skills of computer such as WORD, EXCEL and AutoCAD, SolidWorks .

· English level CET-4 or above

Skills Required
- Diploma degree or higher in engineering or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of technical work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Ability to use multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and other test equipment
- Structured thinking and good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- ERP experience; SAP experience is advantageous
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- English proficiency at CET-4 level or above
