onsemi is seeking a Product Engineer (PE) whose responsibilities will focus on power semiconductor modules intended for industrial and automotive applications. Come join our team and be part of this dynamic, growing market segment.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a team player who is able to work in a semiconductor environment.
- Technical project leader for the development & release of new products
- Participate in new product technical specification definition
- Responsible for planning and executing of committed product engineering key deliverables such as
- Final test plan content relevant to customer and internal quality control requirements
- Support prototype, customer samples, and qualification material build
- Support product characterization, failure analysis, and reliability request
- Product electrical parametric data analysis and yield enhancement
- Basic data setup for new products in manufacturing system
- Support manufacturing review and approval for new product release
- Responsibility to handover completed projects to relevant sustaining engineering team members
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Physics
- Oral & written English language proficiency a must
- Computer literate
- At least 8 years’ working experience as a development, product, device or yield engineer
- Proficient knowledge of power semiconductors such as IGBTs, MOSFETs, Rectifiers and Gate Drivers
- Experience in silicon fabrication, process flow, assembly and testing of discrete power devices
