We are seeking a Product Engineer to drive the strategic direction and growth of our rapidly expanding CSR product portfolio. What You'll DoAs a Product Engineer, you will own the product journey from concept through commercialization and beyond, ensuring our solutions continue to deliver value to customers and support ABEC's strategic objectives.
Product Lifecycle Leadership- Lead products from business case development and concept creation through commercial launch and end-of-life planning.
- Drive product strategy and roadmap development based on market opportunities and customer needs.
- Partner across engineering, manufacturing, sales, and leadership teams to ensure successful product performance and growth.
- Analyze industry trends, customer challenges, and market dynamics.
- Develop go-to-market strategies that position ABEC products for success.
- Create technical content, customer-facing tools, and product collateral that support lead generation and sales growth.
- Define product requirements, specifications, and performance objectives.
- Support the development and testing of new products and product enhancements.
- Provide training and technical guidance to internal teams, customers, and partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product performance, quality, and cost competitiveness.
- Leverage customer feedback and operational insights to identify enhancement opportunities.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately 25% or less).
- Build strong relationships with customers and help translate their needs into innovative product solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and technical product marketing principles.
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience supporting large-scale capital equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to translate customer requirements into clear technical specifications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working effectively across diverse functional teams.
- 5+ years of post-graduate engineering experience within bioprocessing or a related industry.
- Knowledge of upstream bioprocessing applications including cell culture, harvest, and purification processes.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or other Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Work on innovative technologies that support the development of life-saving therapies.
- Influence the direction of a growing and evolving product portfolio.

Skills Required
- BS degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Biological Engineering or equivalent
- Solid understanding of product lifecycle and technical marketing fundamentals
- At least 3 years of experience in an engineering capacity on large scale capital equipment
- Ability to translate customer inputs into clear product requirements
- Comfort working on multiple projects simultaneously, across multiple functional groups
- 5 years post-graduate engineering experience in bioprocessing or an adjacent industry
- Knowledge of upstream bioprocessing applications including cell culture, harvest, and purification
- Familiarity with Lean or other Continuous Improvement framework
