As a Product Director in Employee Experience, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs. You set direction across the end-to-end product portfolio, align stakeholders, and drive delivery to maximize the employee experience and business outcomes.

In this role, you own the product vision, strategy, and execution for the employee web and mobile app products, staying deeply connected to employee insights and translating them into priorities that improve the experience. You partner closely with channel leadership to unify the operating model across web, mobile, and the Employee Assistant, and to define a clear, differentiated role for each channel within the broader employee experience ecosystem.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
  • Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
  • Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
  • Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
  • Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
  • Establishes and continuously refines the multi-quarter roadmap and prioritization framework for employee web and mobile app products
  • Manages and develops a team of product managers, enabling high-quality delivery of incremental features with a clear focus on measurable end-user value
  • Builds proactive partnerships across peer product teams, design, engineering, employee success, and business stakeholders to deliver against strategic priorities
  • Creates and presents executive-facing materials, such as strategy narratives, roadmaps, and progress updates, to drive alignment, decisions, and sustained sponsorship
  • Partners with channel leadership to unify the experience operating model and define differentiated roles for web and mobile app channels
  • Ensures products are operated in compliance with applicable firmwide standards, controls, and governance requirements

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including managing and developing product managers
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with a track record of influencing without authority across design, engineering, operations, and business partners
  • Exceptional executive communication skills, both written and verbal, including building crisp narratives for senior leadership
  • Analytical and customer-centric approach to product development, using user insights and data to drive decisions

  • Recognized thought leader within a related field
  • Experience with employee-facing platforms, internal digital experiences, or multi-channel experience ecosystems
  • Experience operating products within regulated or highly controlled environments, including governance and risk partnership
